See that large amount of nothingness around the red speck? Yeah, that's where I live.
The main aspect of home that I won't miss will be the fact that there is nothing around, and I find it hard to be inspired and creatively active at home.. Aka. I get bored.
I have always prided myself on being a 'country bumpkin', but after my experience at Parsons, It's clear that that's not the case.
In New York I loved that there was everything and anything on my doorstep. That I was within walking distance to anything in particular I wanted, knowing that I could be surprised along the way. I know it's a cliche and stale view on the city, but it was such a contrast the sheep and fields that I'm used to.
